Brown Tube Sponge
Since the sponge cannot move it has to wait for the other algae particles to swim by it. The sponge is covered with pores where the algea is sucked in. Collar cells and the flagella beat the food to make it enter the sponge. The sponge doesnt even have a mouth so each cell individually takes the food. The Brown Tube Sponge has a tube shape. Because of the shape of the sponge the algae and particles go into the tube and the algea are more easily sucked into the sponge pores but the process is still the same.
